You've just walked out with a fresh set and you look incredible. Now for the important part: keeping them that way. How long your extensions last comes down to two things, a great application and great aftercare. We take care of the first. These ten commandments take care of the second.
I. Thou shalt keep thy lashes clean, for clean lashes last longest
Clean lashes are happy lashes. Oil, makeup and everyday build-up weaken the bond between your extensions and your natural lashes, and build-up around the lash line can lead to irritation. Keeping them clean is the single best thing you can do for your retention.
II. Thou shalt wash them daily with a lash-safe foaming cleanser, then pat them dry
Apply one pump of foaming cleanser to your closed eye, then use a soft cleansing brush to gently cleanse your eyelid and lash line in a circular motion. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Don't rub with a towel.

III. Thou shalt brush thy lashes gently every morning
A quick brush-through with a clean spoolie keeps your set fluffy, separated and looking freshly done. Make sure your lashes are dry, then brush gently from the middle outwards.
IV. Thou shalt not use oil-based products around thine eyes
Oil breaks down lash adhesive. Check your cleanser, makeup remover, moisturiser and eye cream, and keep anything oil-based away from your lash line. For taking off makeup, a microfibre makeup remover cloth with warm water is a gentle, oil-free option.
V. Thou shalt not wear mascara on thy extensions
You won't need it. Mascara clumps extensions together and is hard to remove without pulling at your lashes.
VI. Thou shalt not use lash curlers
Your extensions already have their curl. Lash curlers can bend, kink or break them, and can pull out your natural lashes along with them.
VII. Thou shalt not rub, pick or pull at thy lashes
Pulling extensions off takes your natural lash with it, which can leave gaps and damage your natural lashes. If your lashes feel uncomfortable or you're ready for them to come off, get in touch and we'll look after it.
VIII. Thou shalt avoid steam, saunas and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours
The adhesive needs time to fully cure. For the first 24 hours, skip the sauna, steam room, hot yoga and heavy workouts, and keep hot showers off your face.
IX. Thou shalt sleep on thy back where thou canst
Sleeping face-down crushes and bends your lashes. If you can, sleep on your back. A contoured sleep mask sits over your extensions without touching them, so there's less friction while you sleep.
X. Thou shalt return for thy infill every 2–3 weeks
Your natural lashes shed and regrow all the time, and each extension goes with them. An infill every 2–3 weeks keeps your set looking full. To qualify for an infill, you need at least 30% of your lashes remaining, and we don't infill sets that are more than 4 weeks old, so don't leave it too long.
